Especially the STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) are constantly growing, and global leaders in this arena are sure that all the sought-after jobs will fall under this radar in the upcoming decades. The underrepresentation of women in STEM started a long time ago when people sold the idea that men perform better at science and math while women do better at arts and literature. Evidently, there’s a gender stereotype attached to the choice of field an individual wants to opt for.
