How Knowing Your Worth Can Help You Value Yourself More Than Before?

We are all a lot more amazing than we realize. Believe it or not, you probably have a LOAD of potential that has not been realized. Why? Well, mostly because your own thoughts are limiting you. A lot of stars like Taraji P. Henson never imagined that they’d be in the positions they were in. For Taraji, it was what took her so long to become a success. She didn’t decide to truly chase her dreams until she was twenty-six years old. She traveled far with her toddler and not a lot of money in her pocket and became something that she hadn’t before dreamed of happening. Now, she is an extremely successful actress. Do you ever wonder how stars like that did that?

Your limits are only as high as your imagination. You can go so much further than where you are right now, and I don’t care where you are. You are one decision away from having an entirely different and better reality than what’s in front of you. You are probably capable of legendary things in your life, but how do we tap into that?

So, How To See What You’re Truly Capable of Becoming and then becoming it

How to see it

One of the first things you need to do is learn how to see how far you can go. Like I said, you can only go as far as your imagination can take you. So, how do you go about expanding your imagination?

● Know that you’re capable of more.

The first step is to acknowledge that fact. Even if you’re in a place where you are further than anyone else in your family, and they are all telling you how you’ve set the bar high. There is always a way for you to go to the next level of success in your life and set that bar even higher. You could become a better person spiritually. You could grow in your financial situation. The very first thing you have to do is just gain the belief that where you are right now is not as good as it is going to get.

● Don’t expect to be an expert at it all right now.

In order to reach the next level in your success or reach success at all, there is going to be a learning curve. You are going to have to have to fall and experience some failures. I had no idea what I was capable of before becoming a writer and social media manager. I went through job after job and thought that when I worked my first 9-5 that was as good as it was going to get for me. When I finally realized I could be doing so much more, I had no idea how to go about reaching my potential. And you know what? That’s okay. It’s okay not to have it all together. A part of becoming better and going further is BECOMING more knowledgeable in what you don’t know now.

● Get serious about self-development.

Take a swim in lake YOU. You need to know who you are. You need to learn your strengths and weaknesses. You have to face certain things because your better self is somewhere inside of you. It’s your job to find it. You could find that you are actually aren’t as in love with what you do as you thought you were. Self-development helps you realize the truth about yourself. The truth is that you are LIT.

How to Become It

Once you see what it is you’re capable of it’s time actually to go BE that person. I know, here comes the hard part. You’re right. It’s not going to be a walk in the park, but the more you grow, the more excited you’ll be and willing to reach that next level. So, how do you go about this?

● Motivation station.

It’s not going to be an overnight process, and there will be times when you get discouraged and question if it was all worth it. That is why self-motivation is so important. It gives you the necessary grit to move forward even when things go wrong, or you start to run low on creativity. You have to learn how to motivate yourself DAILY. It’s like a bath. It has to be redone on a regular basis.

● Remove all toxic people.

Anything that limits your growth, just get rid of it. If it’s the kind of shows you watch, the food you eat, or people you follow on social media it HAS to go. The environment you place yourself in at all times impacts your mental state. If you get on Facebook and all you ever see are posts from people who make you mad, then getting on Facebook will become a toxic habit, won’t it? Studies have shown that people are increasingly posting and commenting negative things on Facebook ALONE and that’s just one social site. So if someone is continuously irritating you on Facebook, unfriend them.

● Surround yourself with people who are most like the BEST version of yourself.

I used to really love the term “surround yourself with like-minded individuals” until I realized just how bad that could be. What if you’re a procrastinator? Should you surround yourself with other procrastinators? What if you like to party? Is surrounding yourself with other party animals beneficial for your better self? No. To grow into the person, you are meant to be you have to surround yourself with the people that represent the better qualities in you. Surround yourself with women who are ALSO girl bosses. That way, they can help you stay motivated when your weaknesses arise instead of join in your bad habits with you or vice versa.

● Take it one step at a time. Growth is a process.

It takes time, and it takes effort. Seeing who you’re capable of is going to take time all by itself. It’s a whole other journey to embark on to BECOMING that person. So, don’t rush through the process. Take pride in each step toward growth and enjoy the ride to your destiny.

● Be confident in yourself.

You are capable of great things. You are going to dominate so much… unless you refuse to let, yourself believe it. If you lack the confidence to be the legendary individual you’re capable of being you’ll never get there. Remember… whatever it is you choose to believe about yourself is correct. So choose to believe that you’re amazing and then ACT as you know it.

I hope all you bosses out there read this and are now on your journey to becoming the person you never before imagined yourself being. Think beyond your wildest dreams and then decide that that’s your destination. Are you prepared to become who you’re capable of becoming? What beliefs are limiting you from reaching your potential right now?
